Méthodes (audio)visuelles, corps, matières et sensori-motricité : quelles transformations épistémologiques ?
Abstract
The first part of the introduction contextualizes, within French, Anglo-Saxon, and Italian academic circles, the contribution of (audio)visual methods to research focused on the relationships between bodies and their material cultures through the sensorimotor processes. In the second part, it brings together the articles in this issue around four themes: the methodological approaches deployed to reveal what remains unspoken in sensorimotor processes, based of identities; the way in which audiovisual methodologies transform the sensorimotor practices of anthropologists in the field; the insights these methodologies provide into processes of identification and subjectivation; and the epistemological transformations they bring about.
